All our classes have been learning ISL this year. Thanks to our tutor, Mary, for all her hard work.
Our senior classes have been doing tag rugby with John Burns from Tullamore Rugby Club. Lots of progress has been made over the last few weeks.

We held our annual Grandparents’ Day on Thursday 23rd January. A wonderful group of grandparents, parents and other relatives visited all our classrooms where they were entertained with songs, music, board games and much more.
Raheen Church was packed to capacity on Wednesday 18th December for our Christmas Play. There was a wonderful Christmas atmosphere in the air as all our classes played their part in a brilliant production. Well done to everyone for all their hard work over the last few weeks.
This Christmas our student council organised two charity fundraisers – one for St Vincent de Paul and the other for the Tullamore Lions Club Food Appeal. Both were very successful and thanks to everyone for their very generous contributions to both.
We all gathered by the green on Monday 9th December for the lighting of the village Christmas tree. This year we had a very special visit from Santa Claus and he led us all in the big countdown as the Geashill Christmas Tree was lit for 2024.
Two 6th Class pupils unveiled the crib also. Thanks to everyone in the village for helping to get the crib and tree organised again this year.
Our Christmas Play is taking place this year on Wednesday 18th December in St Mary’s Church, Raheen, at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
