We used junk to make musical instruments.

Junior Infants to 2nd Class had their first of four golf lessons with professional Brian McCormack.  They had good fun learning about putting this week.

They worked on improving their balance, posture and motor control.

Junior Infants have been busy lately, creating some lovely art work.  It must be feeling pretty cold in their room!

Mrs. Kearns has started her guitar lessons with children in 5th and 6th.

We have been learning about Space in Geography.  We have created Powerpoint presentations using our tablets. See Muireann, Rihanna and Adam’s here.

In Art we drew pictures of Space using pastels.

Marvin and his Magic Recycling show came to Geashill NS this morning.  All classes enjoyed learning about Reducing, Reusing and Recycling in a fun way.  Thanks to Offaly County Council for funding this initiative.  This is part of our continued work towards our 6th Green Flag.

Once again this year we have had a great response to the Christmas Shoebox Appeal.  Thanks to everyone who participated.

We learned about fire safety today when fire fighters from Tullamore fire station visited.

Our Christmas Play will take place on Tuesday 19th December at 7pm in Raheen Church.
