6th Class have been busy lately designing and building robots for the Vex IQ Robotics competition. They have also been learning all about coding and programming.
There was a great sense of happiness and pride all around the village on Friday when Geashill was named Ireland’s Tidiest Village at the annual Supervalu Tidy Towns awards ceremony. Everyone in the school sends our congratulations to the Geashill Tidy Towns Committee as well as to the dedicated team of volunteers.
A special mention to Eddie Kelly, our school caretaker, for his trojan work all around the village.

We were delighted to show the trophy around all our classes today.
There was lots of fun on Friday as we held our annual dress up day for Hallowe’en. Children and staff alike put lots of effort into dressing up . Well done everyone!
The First Communion ceremony took place on Saturday 2nd October.
Congratulations to all the girls and boys and a big thanks to Msgr Coonan for such a lovely ceremony.
The Confirmation ceremony took place on Friday 17th September. Congratulations to all in last year’s 6th Class. It was great to meet up again. Thanks to Fr. John for such a lovely ceremony.
