We opened our third special class today. Cairdeas 3 is our new ASD class and it was great to see it working today after all the months of preparation.
Summer Holidays
The school is closed for the summer holidays.
A summer programme will run from the 18th to 29th of July.
The school will open for the new school year on Wednesday 31st of August.

7th Green Flag & 1st Amber Flag Raised
On their last day in school, 6th Class had the honour of raising our 7th Green Flag and our 1st Amber Flag. Well done to our green school committee and our student council who lead the school in both initiatives.
6th Class Graduation
On Wednesday 22nd June we celebrated our 6th Class at their graduation ceremony. We thanked them for their wonderful contribution to our school and we wished them well for the future. It was a day full of music, song, poetry and ice cream!
Pizza Party
We held a pizza party on Thursday to celebrate all the wonderful work the pupils have done this year.
Amber Flag News!
We received the great news that the school has been awarded an Amber Flag for our work this year on wellbeing and positive mental health. Well done to our Student Council, Ms. Walsh and Ms. Daly for leading us in this area.

6th Class Hoodies
We presented 6th Class with their Class of 22 hoodies this week. They’re looking forward to wearing them for their last few weeks in Geashill NS.
School Tour
3rd & 4th Classes went on their school tour on Monday to the Technological University Shannon in Athlone while 5th & 6th followed in their footsteps on Tuesday. They took part in the Let’s Go school tour activities. They all had a great time.
