Some pupils from 6th Class attended the launch of the Be Safe Be Seen winter road safety campaign. They met representatives from the emergency services and the seatbelt sheriff himself! The important safety message this winter is to wear high viz when out and about cycling or walking and remember, Be Safe, Be Seen!
Hallowe’en Fun!
There was lots of fun on Friday as we all dressed up for Hallowe’en.
Well done to everyone for making such an effort.
Football Semi-Final!
Our girls’ football team qualified for the semi-final of their Cumann na mBunscoil competition after two great wins in the group stages. They played a very strong Daingean team on Wednesday and unfortunately didn’t make it to the final. Congratulations to Daingean and we wish them all the best in the final. Well done to our girls for their wonderful playing this year.
Up Raheen!
The school was a sea of black and orange on Friday as we put on the Raheen GAA colours to show our support for the team ahead of their Intermediate County Final against Ballycommon on Sunday. We wish the panel, management and the many past pupils involved the very best of luck. We know you can do it!
Online Safety Workshop
On Thursday we are holding online safety workshops for pupils, teachers and parents. The parents’ meeting will take place online and the link has been sent home. We encourage as many parents as possible to join the meeting.
More information can be found on this here.
