The senior classes have been busy researching a variety of topics over the last number of weeks. Topics researched included Rosa Parks, Offaly GAA, Dinosaurs, The Taj Mahal, The War in Syria, Kilmainham Gaol, The Famine, Hungary, China, Australia, World War 1, Heritage of Offaly, Clonmacnoise, JRR Tolkien, 9/11, Laika and The Titanic They have created some very interesting projects and enjoyed presenting them to some of the other classes in the school. Keep an eye out on the website in the coming weeks for some Powerpoint presentations.

We were using money to do some shopping in our toy shop today.
We took advantage of the beautiful spring weather to take a stroll around the village to look for signs of spring. We saw lots of spring flowers, nests, blossoms and a ladybird.
We are ordering weights from the lightest to the heaviest.
The school will be closed on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd of February for the mid-term break.
4th Class have been busy over the last number of weeks.
They have created some lovely spring art and poems.
They have also been learning about light and reflection using mirrors and periscopes.
