Christmas in Geashill
We were delighted to attend the crib unveiling and Christmas tree lighting in the village green on Friday 9th December. It was a very cold afternoon but the Christmas spirit was very much in evidence as the children sang Jingle Bells and Silent Night. As a sign of friendship to our Ukrainian pupils we sang a verse of Silent Night in Ukrainian.

Football Semi-Final!
Our girls’ football team qualified for the semi-final of their Cumann na mBunscoil competition after two great wins in the group stages. They played a very strong Daingean team on Wednesday and unfortunately didn’t make it to the final. Congratulations to Daingean and we wish them all the best in the final. Well done to our girls for their wonderful playing this year.
