Well done to the our Amber School Committee and Ms. Daly for all their work this year in helping us to achieve the school’s second Amber Flag. This flag is recognition for our promotion of positive mental health and wellbeing.

Our senior classes went on school tour to the National Sports Campus in Abbottstown. There was a huge variety of activities on offer and everyone was very tired at the end of a long day.

6th Class were presented with their Class of 23 hoodies this week. Well done to 6th Class for all they have achieved in their years with us in Geashill NS.

Lots of work has been going on in our school garden. There’s been good growth this week and we’ve had a splash of colour added as well.

Congratulations to all our pupils who celebrated their First Holy Communion on Saturday 13th May. Thanks to Msgr. Coonan for the lovely ceremony and for all his help and support throughout the year. Thanks also to the altar servers and those who were part of our school choir for adding so much to the ceremony.  And finally, a special word of thanks to class teacher, Ms. Connolly, for preparing the class so well.

Village Clean Up & Litter Pick

We recently took part in a Clean Up and Litter Pick around the village. Well done to everyone for doing such a great job.

Cycle to School Week

We’re taking part in Cycle to School Week.  It’s been great to see our bicycle racks being put to good use.

Pupils from 1st to 6th Classes recently took part in handwriting and art competitions organised  by Killeigh Community Games. This week we received the results and were very happy to have so many medal winners.
