We had a wonderful Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday January 24th. The school was alive with music, songs, poems, knitting and card games. It certainly was a day to remember. A big “Thank You” to all.

We were delighted to attend the crib unveiling and Christmas tree lighting in the village green on Friday 9th December. It was a very cold afternoon but the Christmas spirit was very much in evidence as the children sang Jingle Bells and Silent Night. As a sign of friendship to our Ukrainian pupils we sang a verse of Silent Night in Ukrainian.
Clean Air Week is taking place from November 21st to 25th. Our Green School Committee is encouraging us all to take part. You can read a letter from the committee here telling us about a no idling campaign it hopes parents will be able to help out with.
Well done to our Green School Committee for all their work in promoting all things green in our school and for helping us achieve 7 Green Flags.
