Election fever hit Geashill last week as our new student council was elected. Thanks to our outgoing student council for organising the election so well. Thanks also to all the pupils who put themselves forward for election and for the effort they put into their presentations.

Our boys have qualified for the final of their Cumann na mBunscol competition following a semi-final win against Bracknagh. Well done to both teams for playing the match in such good spirit. They now play Croghan in the final in O’Connor Park after the midterm break.

Tough luck to our girls who lost in the semi-final of their competition to Kilcormac/Broughal.  We wish them the best of luck in the final

This week we submitted our planning application to Offaly County Council for our ASD classroom, central activity space and other associated rooms. You can see some plans below. Hopefully we will hear positive news before Christmas.
